Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This policy explains the cookies the MtaaLex Solutions website uses and how you can control them. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
Our approach
We keep cookies to a minimum. Essential cookies keep you signed in, hold your cart and protect forms from misuse; the site can’t work without them, so they don’t need your consent. We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
mtaalex_session | Keeps you signed in, remembers your cart and which articles you liked, and protects forms against misuse. | Essential | Until you close your browser. It stops working after an hour without activity. |
mtaalex_remember | Keeps you signed in on this browser. Only set when you tick “Remember me”. | Essential | 30 days |
Our own visit statistics
Our built-in visit statistics don’t use cookies. Our server records the page, the time, your browser type and your network (IP) address, and stores the code for your visit only in a scrambled (hashed) form. Our Privacy Policy explains how long we keep these records.
Content from other services
Some parts of the site come from other services, which receive your IP address and may use cookies under their own policies:
- Google Fonts and Cloudflare (cdnjs), which deliver the site’s fonts and icons.
- WhatsApp, only when you click a WhatsApp button and leave our site.
- Meeting platforms (Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams), when you follow a training link.
Managing cookies
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you won’t be able to sign in, use the cart or send some forms.
Changes and questions
We update this policy when the cookies we use change; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions? Email info@mtaalexsolutions.co.ke.
